Hello, Tom
Recently I have tested the GP child theme and change the style .css description to remove the default URL and details to submit my site name and URL. And checked it on the theme detector tool first this shows me changes but after that from a long time it’s not showing me changes.
And just showing only default URL and theme description like theme name, description, and author details.
Why this is happening?
Ya, its looks like foolish but I am stunned. Please share your opinion.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Thank you.
I’ve checked your site and indeed, the child theme’s stylesheet is somewhat empty.
Can you tell us how you’re editing the style.css of the child theme?
If you’re editing it through Appearance > Theme Editor, do you get any error when you try to save any changes instead of getting the
"File edited successfully."?Let us know.

Yes, I have edited it through the theme editor, but not found any error.
You know when I disabled the LS Cache plugin only one time it shows me the changes and after that, there are the same generatepress details.
I wonder why these changes are not shown, still the cache plugin is disabled.March 10, 2021 at 10:43 pm #1690617Dipak Singh

StaffCustomer SupportCan you try disabling ALL potential source of cache including CDN (if you have one)?
Also, any chance you could provide temporary site login so we could take a closer look?

StaffCustomer SupportI’ve tried testing if the theme editor works and all seems to be in proper order.
I’ve tried adding a simple CSS for testing purposes (
.test{ color: red; }) and the change actually reflected on the style.css as shown here:
https://share.getcloudapp.com/llu9pqdGNot exactly sure why it’s not working for you. Can you provide the code you were trying to add on it?
