StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Does that issue occur with all plugins except GP Premium disabled?

Ok, I will try and give you a feedback. I also get this message in console: c1c130ce-1615060808.min.js:744 JQMIGRATE: jQuery.fn.click() event shorthand is deprecated
🙁

So, I had deactivated all plugins without GP Premium, all was fine until I activated Merge+Minify+Refresh again. When this goes online there are 2 issues:
JQMIGRATE: jQuery.fn.click() event shorthand is deprecated
console.traceBoth seem to be related to JQMigrate is installed version 3.3.2 which is caused by AdInserter and the last issue that is connected to Merge+Minify+Refresh is:
The resource https://www.topfgartenwelt.com/wp-content/themes/generatepress/assets/js/classList.min.js was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate
as
value and it is preloaded intentionally. So what should I do?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
It sounds like that plugin is adding preloading to that file, which isn’t necessary.
Maybe it has an option where you can exclude certain scripts from being preloaded?

I can exclude merge and minify certain scripts but I just have one option enable or disable:
Enable Preload/Push Headers for CSS
Enable Preload/Push Headers for Javascript
Add response headers for CSS or JS to allow browsers to start downloading assets before parsing the DOM.At the moment both options are enabled.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
can you ask the Plugin author if they have an option to exclude files from the preload ?
March 11, 2021 at 3:46 am #1690870Kathrin
Unfortunately the support from Merge+Minify+Refresh is very poor and questions aren’t answered for a long time. The only possibility is to ignore the file as a whole and exclude it from the process. I have planed to move to WP Rocket next week. Do you know if there is also an issue with WP Rocket concerning preloading?
For the moment should I exclude https://www.topfgartenwelt.com/wp-content/themes/generatepress/assets/js/classList.min.js as a whole?

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI don’t believe this is an issue with WP Rocket.
Yes, if it’s possible, you should exclude that entire file.

Great! Thank you very much, I will try it!

I have excluded the file from Merge+Minify+Refresh, but I still get the issue in the console: The resource https://www.topfgartenwelt.com/wp-content/themes/generatepress/assets/js/classList.min.js was preloaded using link preload but not used within a few seconds from the window’s load event. Please make sure it has an appropriate

StaffCustomer SupportSounds like an issue with that plugin. Might be worth testing out WP Rocket as a replacement.
March 15, 2021 at 10:55 am #1696322Kathrin
The error is gone with WP Rocket.
But now I have 28 requests instead 13. Is there a way to reduce the requests with WP Rocket?
Greetings Kathrin

StaffCustomer SupportWP Rocket has a Combine CSS and JS option included. Its worth checking the speed before and after combining to see what benefit there is.
March 15, 2021 at 1:19 pm #1696467Kathrin
The speed is very well without combining. Combining seems to cause CLS and it is not recommended if you are using HTTP/2. My server is using HTTP/2. So there is no way to reduce the requests?
