Hej there,
Not sure if I miss something..I want to override the original woocommerce cart.php file. Hence, I created a cart.php in my /generatepress-child/woocommerce/cart directory and did the changes just there. However, the changes do not apply on the website. all files in the cart directory are simply ignored.
Any ideas about that?
Also, the default translation to german do partially not work on the default cart.php page

silly question – is the Child Theme active ? If so – does the child theme have any other modifications such as styles / fucntions – and are they working?

jCan you make sure all caches are cleared ( plugin and server side ) and in the Woocommerce > Status >>> Clear WooCommerce transients

Not working.Couldn’t find any known issues – so i fired up a test site and added a child theme cart.php – and it worked. So there must be something else conflicting with it on your site. Can you temporarily disable any other plugins and Woo functions to see if there is a conflict?
Thanks for guiding me into that direction. In the end it was combination of another plugin and some misconfigured permissions.
