hi,
i use the default search widget but when i type something to search for, i get results only inside the text of the posts messages.
but i would like to get results in everything, for example authors, tags, categories etc etc. if i search for nikos (my name) to get results in all the posts i wrote. if i search for 2017, (i use it as a tag), to get results in every post that is made on 2017.
does generatepress includes another search function? i have only discovered the wordpress widget.
or can we do a full search by some php code?

Hi there,
the default WP Search is pretty basic. Not much you can do with that. If you want more advanced searches then you will want a plugin – there is quite a few of them in the WP repository. Here are a couple of examples:
