Dale
We want to create pages something like jamiedrakemusic.com/music and jamiedrakemusic.com/contact and we are working on keyshaswanson.com/home
So on ours we have the blank homepage at the bottom that we don’t want and we thought following https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/#background-image-position was the way to go but we don’t see how the page content will scroll over top of the background image we created as an element as per this document we found.
Please point us to the steps we should be following..
Thank you,

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
What you need is a background-image that has a fixed position so it doesn’t move when you scroll similar to the site you’re trying to replicate.
You’ll have to use the Backgrounds module for that.
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/backgrounds-overview/#attachmentLet us know if you need further help with this. 😀

Thanks Elvin,
At keyshaswanson.com/home we got the background image thing working right after learning to fade out the background color of the content home page so thats great.
Then we struggled with a menu appearing as we scrolled down a little bit on the left side right under her name which is part of the background image but that disappeared unexpectedly when we choose the checkbox to use navigation as header under customize. Now the menu that appears on scrolling down is over on the right side so that is great also. Thanks so much Elvin, for getting us heading in the right direction

We just noticed that on a computer we see the complete background image and the home page scrolls correctly
BUT on cellphone the background image is a small slice…so how do we do that better?December 27, 2020 at 9:42 pm #1596231Elvin

Best way to deal with this on both desktop and mobile is to set the background size to “Cover”.
This particular setting scales the image to cover the whole area of where you placed the bg image. 😀
