Brian
Hi,
I am having a problem with the Customizer. The person I am doing the site for wanted cinzel from google fonts for the site title which doesn’t work when I’m in the customizer preview – it appears in lowercase even though the font is supposed to be uppercase:
This is what it looks like when logged out on mobile:
On Desktop:
This is the preview version on mobile:
Could you please tell me how to fix this? I’m after clearing the cache several times and still no joy.
Kind Regards,
Brian Thompson

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
That’s strange, can you show us a screenshot of the Typography settings?

Hi Tom,
Here is the screenshot:
I was also trying to customize the colours for gb buttons:
https://generatepress.com/forums/topic/buttons-gb/I noticed that the changes took effect in the editor and in the customize preview but they wouldn’t update until they were deleted and redone.
Kind Regards,

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHave you tried setting the Text Transform option to uppercase?
If you’re seeing the changes happen in the editor and Customizer but not the frontend, it likely means you have some sort of caching plugin/server caching preventing the site from showing the latest changes. Try disabling all caching while in development to avoid this.

Hi Tom,
Sorry for taking so long to get back to you. I have tried but it doesn’t seem to work for some reason. Please see screenshot:
I also tried hitting the publish button but no joy either.
Kind Regards,

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
can you disable the Autoptimize plugin and then see if the changes you make are correct.

Hi David,
I think I have it fixed. I disabled Autoptimize and then today I enabled it again. I was going down through the css settings and I saw “Also aggregate inline CSS?” was ticked so I unticked it and cleared the cache and it seems to have done the job.
Thanks for your help. I hope Christmas was good.
Kind Regards,
Brian Thompson
