What do you have inside the child theme
functions.php
file? It’s likely something in there is coded incorrectly and causing the error.December 12, 2020 at 11:40 am #1577777SourabhI am not aware tom, I just downloaded from github, I thought u made it
How to find out the area of problem?
December 12, 2020 at 11:47 am #1577787TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperYou can check your
error_log
file for specific errors.Has nothing been changed in the child theme at all? No files added, no functions added?
December 13, 2020 at 12:09 am #1578213SourabhI installed rank math Pro, which I have purchased recently, it was asking to add a line of PHP code in function.php so I did it, However, I don’t call it a problem of rank math because it’s common and happens each time even in every week…
Ask Leo he has asked several times that my website is down, it was not down actually coz it was broken down and I am restoring it always from backup…Refer error email which i receive almost every week –

And child theme which I use is below –

December 14, 2020 at 3:29 am #1579615DavidStaffCustomer SupportDid you resolve the error with the Child Theme?
I just checked the site and i cannot see any issues with the child theme.December 14, 2020 at 3:33 am #1579622SourabhDid you resolve the error with the Child Theme?
Seems it was because of WordPress 5.6 update, which was installed automatically.
I just checked the site and I cannot see any issues with the child theme.
And its because I have restored it from backup, but it breaks each week due to some issue, dont know why..
December 14, 2020 at 5:26 am #1579789DavidStaffCustomer SupportIf it breaks again then i would recommend you speak to your hosting provider and ask them to review their error logs – this should help pinpoint what the actual issue was.
December 14, 2020 at 6:22 am #1579875SourabhOkay David, Can you suggest something like – is it mandatory to use the child theme ??
I use CSS codes given by you, and updates are also coming from time to time still despite the child theme site is breaking ….??
