Hello there,
I’m currently getting back into GeneratePress (with GenerateBlocks – which is awesome so far! Thanks for the free version of it!) and I’m trying to recreate a website I made with Divi. So far I’m successful, but theres one thing which I can’t get to work: True Parallax.
I have a section under Divi which uses a SVG background with enabled “True Parallax” and I’m trying to recreate it under GP + GB.
From my understanding I would need to make a hook into the wp_footer for the Javascript and then call the class under advanced -> additional CSS classes on the section where I want to have it.
If this is correct so far, what would be the needed Javascript to archive this?

To clarify, you’re asking for parallax js libraries?
If so, you can try these:

ScrollMagic – https://scrollmagic.io/
Rellax – https://github.com/dixonandmoe/rellaxAlternatively, you can follow guide articles like this:

BasicScroll definitely looks good, but also a lot harder to get what I want than expected, probably due to the nature of working with page builders too much where clicking buttons gets you straight to the point 🙂
That’s true.
Even the most advanced page builders have their limit too.
