I do not see an option for ‘generate_menu_bar_items’ and unsure of how to add social media buttons, as well as a search bar too, either as a search bar that does not expand/collapse, or preferably as a search bar like this theme. Many thanks, December 4, 2020 at 12:01 pm #1567766 LeoStaff Customer Support Hi there, Did you take a look at this article? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_menu_bar_items/ The video should answer most of your questions. December 4, 2020 at 12:17 pm #1567787 William Yes I just do not see an option for generate_menu_bar_items as a hook? December 4, 2020 at 5:40 pm #1567968 LeoStaff Customer Support You can do so with a hook element: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/hooks-element-overview/ Have you watched the video here? https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_menu_bar_items/ It should be helpful. December 5, 2020 at 1:40 am #1568193 William Yes – the issue is I do not see an option for generate_menu_bar_items in the drop-down for hooks. I added the snippet code for generate_menu_bar_items from the link and added that as a custom hook, but still it does not show anything. Can you make sure they are both up to date. December 5, 2020 at 2:38 pm #1568824 William Sure thing, I have theme version 3.0.2 installed and premium plugin 1.12.2 installed – dashboard does not say there are any updates for either. December 5, 2020 at 4:21 pm #1568867 LeoStaff Customer Support Are you using the flex version of the site? That hook is only available with flex and not float. December 5, 2020 at 4:37 pm #1568876 William Ah you’re right – I did not realize this at all -apologizes for not realizing and thank you for being ever so patient guys!
