Hi there,
On this site, is there a way to add social media buttons similar to this site for this Generate Press site?
I do not see an option for ‘generate_menu_bar_items’ and unsure of how to add social media buttons, as well as a search bar too, either as a search bar that does not expand/collapse, or preferably as a search bar like this theme.

Yes – the issue is I do not see an option for generate_menu_bar_items in the drop-down for hooks.
I added the snippet code for generate_menu_bar_items from the link and added that as a custom hook, but still it does not show anything.

which version of GeneratePress theme and GeneratePress Premium plugin are you using?
Can you make sure they are both up to date.Sure thing, I have theme version 3.0.2 installed and premium plugin 1.12.2 installed – dashboard does not say there are any updates for either.
Are you using the flex version of the site?
That hook is only available with flex and not float.
