Hi,
Yesterday I purchased a GP premium theme, while customizing my site I noticed that when I check the box “Display read more as a button” under Layout–>Blog and publish it. I can see that in my browser URL its shows like website name/topic/#more-my post ID.
before it was not happening. also, the post ID should not be shown in the browser.November 26, 2020 at 3:40 am #1549249David
StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
you can add the PHP snippet provided here to your site:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/generate_more_jump/
This will remove the #more-jump link.

Hi,
Thanks for the reply, David.
I have installed the code snippets plugin. Should I click on Add new snippets and paste the code you have provided? After adding it which option should I select?
Run snippet everywhere
Only run in the administration area
Only run on-site front-end
Only run onceAfter choosing any one should I click on activate?

StaffCustomer SupportThats correct – make sure to give the Snippet a title : Enter Title Here.
Leave the Run Snippet Everywhere option enable.
Then Save and Activate.November 26, 2020 at 7:32 am #1549930verma-rajiv

Hi, David again,
Now the other problem arises. Whatever I do in my admin Dashboard like adding featured images, writing posts etc does not reflect on my website.
IS it because of the coding that I added yesterday? Can you please help with this as I can not see anything in live whatever I did today?

StaffCustomer SupportCan you try clearing any server / plugin and browser caches.
That code won’t have caused a problem.
