    The URL of new blog posts have suddenly started showing up with an additional ending. This started with the blog post with an ending of /#more-805, then /#more-839, /#more-855 all the way through to the current blog /#more-1252. All blog posts prior to #more-805 did not have this strange URL ending. Kindly help identify the issue. Thank you. Ceci

    Hi there,

    the #more-jump link gets added to a post when the More tag is used.
    You can add the PHP Snippet provided in this article to disable that:

    Hi David, thanks for this information. Since I am not very IT savvy, could you tell me where I place the php snippet in the post. Secondly, why are not ALL my posts having this issue, since they all have the read more tag. Thank you.

    TLDR:
    1. If you have a Child Theme installed then it would go in your Child Themes > functions.php.
    2. If you don’t have a Child Theme installed, then install the Code Snippets plugin and create a new Snippet and place the code there. Link to plugin:
