I have a plugin installed called: Companion Auto Update
This pluin gives me signals when it updates plugin’s and also when they are not tested with the current version of WordPress. Maybe this is an issue of this plugin itself …

I think it’s just a warning that you can ignore.
GP and GPP are definitely will always be compatible with the most recent version of WordPress 🙂
