Hi,
I am using elementor and am pulling the excerpt through from our CRM via webhook to a custom post types excerpt field, ideally, I would have an auto-generated excerpt from the post content, but I am facing an issue with the length as a whole.
I have tried displaying the excerpt via the elementor text area/excerpt and Jet engine dynamic field as this allows a custom excerpt length in the editor. I have also tried easy auto excerpts and advanced excerpts but to no avail.
I believe the issue comes from elementors approach to the custom excerpt lengths and your theme overwriting their rules, gleaned from other articles.
Are you aware of a fix for my use case?~

You’ll notice that I have hidden the overflow and hidden the text but it’s still loading in if you inspect the excerpt.

Lots of pieces in play here, and i am not sure if the Theme has anything to do with it.
I did find an ongoing unresolved issue on Elementor GitHub related to this, and one user posted a function to fix this:https://github.com/elementor/elementor/issues/5734#issuecomment-590906658
