Hi, I just purchase generatepress, what made me surprising is: hard to get a complete woocommerce relate tutorial on the web to guide newbie to go through. I switch from Astra to GP because I was told GP has good reputation in speed optimized, however, look like learning curve is pretty sharp, the only document I found relate with woocommerce is https://beaverhero.com/prime-template-generatepress/ and is outdated.
Anybody could guide me where to get some documents or tutorial? Thanks

StaffCustomer SupportHi,
I’m afraid there’s no guide specifically written for each templates on the Site Library.
Though, Prime should be readily usable fresh out of the box. You simply need to delete the dummy contents added by the site library import and place your own.
For any further features in it you want changed, you can always ask us. 🙂

thanks

What changes do you want to make to the Best Seller and On Sale Blocks ?–> Good question, as a fresh web develop engineer like me, GP is our most important tools, so I like to know how to using it in efficient and right way. But as I told you, the only documents I could found is from a outdated post.
That is why I need documents/tutorial.Thanks

StaffCustomer SupportThe Prime front pages is built using the WordPress block editor.
You simply need to edit the Home Page.
The Products displayed for Best Seller and On Sale are created using the Woocommerce Blocks Plugin:https://wordpress.org/plugins/woo-gutenberg-products-block/
When you select that block the options to change what it displays is in the settings sidebar.

David,
Thank for your response, now I know GP and Astra using totally different page builder method, I’ll need to do more homework.
On the other hand, the 1st puzzle I have is: How can I get a full width background(Make page full-width is on and check)? I try all days to try to simulate/check your only example “Home” page and still has gap at side, please have a look at: gap at side
I know this question is a little beyond GP’s support, but I really can’t find detail clue on the web, I spent 2 hours to watch and follow video like: Simple Hero Header with GenerateBlocks and GenerateBlocks Tutorial and Review – Four Blocks for Everything, but not work.
Thank for your time and patients.October 31, 2020 at 6:38 pm #1512963Leo

Actually all the pages came with the Prime are not full-width except Shop-3 and Home – FrontPage, shop-3 more like is hard-code cause it is a “empty” page, I’m so curious where came those contents?
Starting frustrate.November 1, 2020 at 2:53 am #1513172Li
Also, Although I’m newbie in web or GP, I do believe demo code is a easiest way to show function, however, this “HidingCode” for Demo? demo page must something wrong, no any setup in container/grid/snippet code and the page could show the wooCommerce products?
