What’s the best way to ensure I get email notifications when things (theme, plugin, Generate Blocks) get updated? I’ve had a good look for a way but couldn’t find anything – I’m sure I must have missed something obvious!

You are not missing anything obvious.
Unfortunately we currently don’t have e-mail notification for announcements – definitely something we are looking to improve on.
Are you on Facebook? If so Tom makes announcements in our group GeneratePress community from time to time.
If not then you should get notifications for theme updates and plugin updates (if activated) in your dashboard.
Thanks – good to hear about Facebook. I’d love an announcements email. Maybe one could be setup for Premium users?
