Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperI’m not sure what you mean? How did you add it to the header?

Maybe Customizer > Layout > Navigation Position is set to Float Right?

Hi Tom,
In my header, I have the page name, tagline, logo and navigation items. I don’t know how the menu (navigation items, such as Home, Services etc.) got into the header. My main menu below the header contains the same items.I’m going to create a header in Gimp and upload it, but just learning things in the header now, and I thought it was odd that navigation was in the header — especially since I don’t know how it got there.
Thanks.

Dick – can you post a link to your site so we can take a look at the layout?

You could set up a temporary admin logon and send the credentials to Tom and either he or I could take a look at it. But I’ll let Tom respond as to how he wants to handle it.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIs it the secondary navigation that’s in the header? You have one below the header, and then another one inside the header floating to the right?
If so, go to “Customize > Secondary Navigation” and set it to “hide”.

Hi Tom,
You asked, “Is it the secondary navigation that’s in the header?” No, that’s the primary navigation, listing same pages as in nav below header. This did not work: Customize > Secondary Navigation > Navigation position > No Navigation selected.
This did not work: Customize > Secondary Navigation > found no “hide” in layout, position or alignment. In Navigation Position, I changed “Below Header” to “No Navigation,” but nav remained in header and below header.
This did not work: Appearance > Customize > Navigation Layout (set at Fluid/Full Width) and Navigation Position (set at Below Header). Made no changes.
Can you look again?
Thanks.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt looks like you added a Custom Menu widget into your Header Widget area.
Go to “Appearance > Widgets” and open the “Header” widget.
Then drag the widget out of there, and you should be good to go 🙂
