I have tried from layout>>> Blog >>> hide preview image. But still, images are appearing on the pages.

Can you make sure that Displayed featured images is unchecked when Pages toggle is activated?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adjusting-the-featured-images/Then make sure to clear all caching including Site Ground.
