When creating new pages using a page builder, the layout expands to full width even though I have “default page builder container” selected and “1080px container width” set in the customizer.
I expect the content to be contained within a 1080px container, not to expand the full-width of the viewport.
Can you help me understand what is happening?

Hi there,
that Beaver Builder Row is set to a fixed width of 9999px which is why its breaking out of the content container.
But that is the problem; the BB row shouldn’t break out of the container (because it’s contained).
If you look at this URL, this BB row is also set to 9999px, but it is not breaking out of the container.

I have created the same BB row in both URL’s but am getting different results.
The page has a body class of fl-builder which GP used to add when it detected Beaver Builder, only gets applied to really old pages. See this topic for the reason and fix:

That’s exactly what was causing it. Updating the publish date fixed it!
