YouTube embed letterbox

Hi there,
We tried embedding two youtube videos, both from the same channel, with exactly the same dimensions. We copied and pasted the URLs in exactly the same manner - there is no size difference between the videos / artwork whatsoever.
However, one displays correctly, while the other gets letterboxed (see attached).
Hope you can help us understand why.
We've tried clearing all caches and the usual troubleshooting steps.

I can't see how this would be a theme issue.
Just to confirm, you are using the YouTube embed block for both videos?

If so the theme itself can't control the content displayed unfortunately.
Yes, the video and artwork dimensions are identical, so I can't see why one would letterbox while the other doesn't.
I'm not sure what would cause this unfortunately - I would assume that the same issue would occur in a Twenty series WP theme as well.
I'm going to guess even WordPress doesn't have control over this either so maybe check with YouTube's support team?
