yellow vertical line in header left

Hi,
I added a yellow bar on the very right of the header with the code

.main-navigation {
    top: 0;
    box-shadow: inset -10px 0 0  #fece42;
	    }

Could you please tell me how this could stay in place, even when scrolling down the page?

Hi David,
I double-checked in Chrome (Desktop and mobile), Edge and Firefox, not working in any of them, only when I'm at the top of the page I have the yellow line in the header.
