Wp Show Posts plugin is not updated

I don't know if this is the correct place to ask this, but since the plugin is often suggested to Generatepress users and it is from the same team, I thought of asking this question here about the update.
Upon checking, I saw that the plugin Wp Show Posts is not updated from 7 months and the Tested Up to row says 5.6.4. Any news for the plugin guys?

Tom plans to turn WP Show Posts into a Block like GenerateBlocks. But it's a pretty big move so it's taking a significant amount of time to update.
Unfortunately, we can't give out any ETAs for it yet but we can at least assure you that it's not abandoned and is very much still in Tom's development roadmap. :D
Great! I too in one of my previous threads suggested including this as one of the block in Generateblocks or to add some functionality in the Grid block to add posts by tag or category. I understand that this will hamper the Wp Show Posts Pro business, but again, that keeps a user happy.

There is a plugin called 'Gutenberg Blocks – Ultimate Addons for Gutenberg' which along with the 'Post Grid' feature has so many other blocks. I have used it and it works beautifully. But being Generatepress blood, the intention is to stay close to GP modules, so I switched to Generateblocks, and was just missing this feature.
Tom is actually thinking about merging WPSP and GenerateBlocks.
We'll make sure to post an announcement once everything is sorted. :D
