Hello,
Please excuse the errant WPSP post.
I'm currently in the process of doing some redesign stuff to https://heretotravel.com and part of that involves making decisions about plugins etc. I've been happily using WPSP for some time, but I note that development has gone a little quiet of late (completely understandable considering the recent incredible work on GP and GB and the time you all take to provide patient, professional support, even to those who clearly don't understand they're asking too much of you).
I'm just wondering whether you might be able to give me a thumbs up that something new, maybe block-related, is on the short/medium term horizon for WPSP. That way, I'm much more likely to stick with it. I'm very reticent to look for alternatives, but I'm also keen to reduce my css tinkering.

We're still having internal discussions about it. We have a few options on the table currently, we're just trying to sort out the best one and how to implement it in a way that makes our users happy.
Some sort of query block is going to be essential as we move forward, so it's definitely a priority.
There's nothing wrong with using WPSP right now - it does what it's supposed to do quite well. Once there's a new method, it will be necessary to replace the current WPSP method regardless of the option we choose.
