WP Author Account - Upload Images

Can you please let me know how to provide access to WordPress Author accounts to upload images since they don't have that option right now.

The theme doesn't have control over the WP user roles, the article should be helpful for you to understand each user roles in WP: https://wordpress.com/support/user-roles/
As far as I understand, Administrator/Editor/Author can all upload media.
