Just wondering….for those like me who are not developers….should we avoid the WP 5.0 update right away? I think it is due to be released in the next day or two, unless the date has slipped.

Personally, I believe Gutenberg made it easier for non-developers. It’s actually a bit like a page builder.
Can’t really comment on whether you should or shouldn’t update.
Maybe start with trying the Gutenberg plugin and see if you like it?
Ok, thanks. Was concerned that some of my plugins might not work with 5.0
I can’t say for other plugins but GP will be compatible for sure 🙂

I’d test it with the plugin version first and then update after a week or 2.
Great….will take your advice. Thanks. By the way, that plug-in gets almost 3 times more 1-star reviews than 5-star, so I plan to go very easy.
