    Hi,

I dont know if it’s related to GP CSS in some ways, but here is my issue.

I have setup WC product categories to show up on side bar with images and description, but images are just a bit cut out on top and bottom. I did try to find where the h… in my css is the problem and can’t find it.

    Thanks for your support

    Hi there,

its not a CSS issue, looking at the src image they are cropped.
You may want to check the orginal images and ensure the aspect ratio is square, which may require some transparent/white space around them.

    Mmm, that’s strange.

When I built this sidebar, icons were correctly displayed without the top/bottom crop. At some point, that I can’t recall, I noticed that they were not correctly displayed.

I did delete and reimport fresh icons in WP media library. No success !!!

All these icons are absolutely transparent png, 40×40 pixels with blank margin of 1px on four sides. That’s why I thought it was a conflicting css rule somewhere.

I don’t use any image compression plugin at the moment.

I am not sure where to look at this point.

    Thanks for any clue.

    Pfff ! Found it !!!

Appearance / Customize / WooCommerce / Product Images.

And then under Thumbnail cropping set to uncropped.

    That was far away.

    Thanks for you support
