WooCommerce missing acceptance of delivery terms

WooCommerce -module has been activated on my GP Premium site. Then I realised, that the acceptance box was missing and no payments could be done. I tried to deactivate the WC -module, but there were still the WC -options in adaptable of the theme. I removed now both there and in the advanced settings of WC the terms of delivery -selection. Now the payments can (perhaps) be done, but there is no acceptance box of the terms.
Please, help me asap!

Hi there,

So when you disable the WC module, the acceptance checkbox disappears?

I'm not seeing an acceptance checkbox on your site currently?

Let me know :)

Hi,

Thank you for your quick reply :)

Actually, the acceptance checkbox disappeared when I enabled the GP Premium WC module and chose pages for both privacy and delivery terms. And the box was not shown on the payment site. When I made my test shopping, red text was shown: the terms should be read and accepted first. And I could not go on further, as there was no box to accept the terms.

Then I disabled your WC module, but the situation was the same: no checkbox, no orders could be paid.

In order to get my shop working, i did also remove the choices for privacy and delivery terms -pages both from the WC module and WC own advanced settings. Now it is possible to order and pay in my shop but without accepting my terms. So, therefore there is no checkbox in my e-shop.

The thing is, I would like to have my terms accepted through a checkbox during the order process. So, how to make this work?

I hope this clarifies the situation. Please help me!

BR Inga

P.S. Your theme and column plugin are so awesome!

EDIT The checkbox did not come back even when the GP WC module was disabled. So I did not find out how to get the checkbox back again

Hmm, in that case it means the WC module isn't the cause.

Which option are you setting to have the checkboxes appear?

Hi,
Even if I disabled WC module, there still remained the WC settings in theme adaptance. I removed the choice of terms manually and also from the WC advanced settings. The checkbox does not appear whatever settings I try to put on...

EDIT: Actually it seems to me that even if disabled your WC module, it / the information still remains in the theme adaptance. So I cannot remove it?

I'm not too sure what you mean? Are you talking about the settings in "Customize > WooCommerce"? If so, those options are added by WooCommerce itself, not the theme.

The theme only adds WooCommerce settings when the WooCommerce module is activated.

Sorry for not expressing myself clearly.

I mean customizing your theme, GeneratePress Premium. When I activated your WooCommerce -module, there showed up a section where the WC -settings can be customized. So I am not speaking about WC's own settings but your theme customizing which I choose form GeneratePress --> Customize.

So, even if the activated WC-module is disabled, the customizing options still remains in GP Customize -section.

And trying whichever settings options, the missing WC delivery terms checkbox is not showing up again.

I also consulted an IT-expert (WP, WC) and according to him this is a theme issue, therefore I did write about the issue here.

I believe the settings you're seeing in "Appearance > Customize" are the core WC plugin settings. If the GP WooCommerce module is off, none of the options are registered. Everything inside "Customize > WooCommerce" is from their plugin, while the GP options are in "Customize > Layout > WooCommerce".

If you activate one of the core Twenty-something themes (Twenty Seventeen for example), do the checkboxes appear?

I tested several settings options. Now it works and the checkbox appears, yes.

Thank you, this problem is now resolved.

Glad you got this sorted out :)
