Woocommerce default product sorting

Hi,

I have a website built with GeneratePress, Elementor and WooCommerce.

I am using the product archive widget to display products on the site.

I have the settings set to 'sort by latest'

However, when I view a category archive, the newest products are NOT shown first, even though the sort filter is set to 'sort by latest'. If I change the filter to something else, and then back to 'sort by latest' everything works fine. Any idea why my products don't sort correctly on page load?

Hi there,

That widget is actually from WooCommerce itself and GP has no control over it.

I would recommend trying #1 here to make sure there isn't a plugin conflict by keeping only GP and WOO activated:
