Hi there,
we have a magazine style Site coming very soon.
What exactly are you looking for?
Just a site library that without page builder for simple blog/magazine
This is what we have in the pipeline - no pagenbuilder, just the WP Show Posts plugin and the GP Blog.
Yea, this is something we want, please let us know how to get this
We hope to have it on the Site Library within the next few days. Keep an eye out for it :)
Oh Great, Thanks David
By the way do you think this suit blog/magazine style site?
GeneratePress
Marketer
You're welcome. We generally announce new Sites in our Facebook community:
The Marketer Site is really popular for Blogs, its a great site for blogging. The Dispatch Site will be focused on Magazine style content
Hello David
If we choose the site library , will it only replace the clean child theme or create a new child theme or it will replace everything in the core file (parent generatepress file)
Close
GeneratePress Options
This step will backup your current theme options, then import the new ones.
The following GP Premium modules will be activated:
Blog
Colors
Elements
Menu Plus
Spacing
Typography
Sites should only be installed on a clean install.
They don't use or install a child theme. They import GP settings, add content including posts / pages / media / elements / menus. They install any necessary plugins apart from Premium ones iof the Site uses them. And they add CSS to the Customizer > Additional CSS. Some of the sites like Volume ( and with Dispatch ) we recommend moving the CSS to a Child Theme.

And for a better understanding this one explains uninstalling:

Yes thanks for the info but I'm looking for separate it (with a child theme) with the core file to avoid any issue for the update in the future.
Do you think we can achieve that?
Updates won't effect the Site, all of the settings and additional CSS are contained within the Theme, they don't add any functions or modify any templates.
BTW: The Dispatch Site is now live and can be found in the Site Library.
So you mean if we use the site library ,
and when we update the GeneratePress core file, everything will still be remain ? and there's no need for any child theme? is that what you mean ?
