    Hi
    I got a weird problem.

After editing the left sidebar widgets, and seeting them ok on the site, after a minute with a refresh it goes back to default and I have only the category widget there.

    Hi,

is this happening only on a particular page? If i view the site then i see a left sidebar with a lot of widgets.

Generally its cache related. Let us know if it re-occurs.

Ok. So it just happened again. What I noticed, though, is this:

all of my widgets moves from the “Left Sidebar” area to the “Right Sidebar” area (I’m talking in the Appearance -> Widgets screen).
Because my site is RTL, I need the sidebar on the left. I can drag all the widgets from right to left and all is good, until the next time it happens.

wow thats an odd one. I might need to take sone advice on this one, in the meantime have you tried the usual debugging techniques ie. Disable plugins, remove caches etc.

Hmm, nothing should be moving widgets from one area to another in WordPress. It could be a plugin you’re using maybe?

Could be, I have no idea. Here’s a list of the plugins:

    Acunetix WP Security
    AdSense In-feed Placement for WordPress
    Advanced Ads
    EWWW Image Optimizer
    GP Premium
    Jetpack
    MailChimp for WordPress
    Send Images to RSS
    SG Optimizer
    WordPress Database Backup
    WP Instagram Widget
    WP Recipe Maker
    WP Rocket
    Yoast SEO
    Elementor + Pro
    Akismet

Most of those look good but you will need try #1 here to see if you can find the problematic one:
