Widget Footer links appear underlined

Hi, I´d like to know if the reason hy the wodget footer links appears underlined since few time ago is because our theme with generate press or if is a Wordpress decision. I´ve seen that it happens since a few weeks ago.

Iwant them NOT underlined, and i know how to do it and just only want to know why suddenly they appear underlined.
