For some reason my widget, under the custom HTML section, keeps displaying an HTTPS link instead of the HTTP link that I have saved. It happens with both IE and Chrome.

I have tried multiple times to delete and recreate, but to no avail.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi there,

Is there a specific widget I should be looking at?

Not quite sure if I understand.

Looks like the link you’ve added is https?

You are right, that is how it shows up on the site. However, when I am in the editor, this is how it looks.

I keep deleting it and adding it again, but it won’t work.

Can you do me a favor and test with a twenty series themes. Does the problem still exist?

I believe this isn’t related to GP but just want to make sure.

Sorry I have never switched themes before. What happens to all of my settings?

They will be saved and fine after you re-activate GP πŸ™‚

Well my destination link changed to an HTTPS anyways, so I won’t try this since the problem is solved for the time being…

    Thanks!
