Widget code disaplys around pages

Hi there,
I'm renovating our company website, with your fantastic theme, locally on XAMPP.
After a long work I was editing the Widgets.
I was creating a new HTML widget, and I kept updating it after editing it to see the result, but at some point that widget showed twice and only on some pages.
Strange thing, anyways I've tried to delete the widget and all the other widgets, but it was still showing it twice.
Therefore after understanding what was wrong I've decided to restrt over copying on the new install only the theme (and child) after updating all plugins and using the original DB untouched from these edits.
So I've checked the website and it wasn't showing that HTML widget (ofc) but after importing the JSON data of the previous work into the new install it showed up again.
If you need any more details and screenshots please let me know.
Thanks
Hi there,
could you push a live version of the site so we cans see? If not then add some screenshot links and we'll see if we can figure it out.
Hi David thanks for your quick answer.
I've just figured out was the browser caching that even if disabled with Chrome's Inspect, it still showed up.
Just one question / suggestion:
While exporting the data from the theme it didn't export the theme's elements.
Is it supposed to be like this or something doesn't work from my side?
Thanks
The GeneratePress > Export is solely the Theme Settings. It won't export Menus / Widgets or other content in the theme elements.
