Wide width Gutenberg feature is not working

I am making my blocks align "Wide width" using the Gutenberg editor but for some reason it doesn't seem to work. Full width works but wide width doesn't. It is happening on both pages and posts.
Any idea how can this be fixed?
Hi there,
align wide extends the block to the edge of the content - the reason you're not noticing any difference as you have no padding set on your content in the Customizer
