Why aren't buttons respecting button colors from Customizer?

So why aren't new buttons defaulting to these colors (the standard blue instead)? https://share.getcloudapp.com/kpuDErLr

That's the button from GenerateBlocks so you will need to change it in its own color settings:

Right - so I'm saying the block editor button's defaults should come from site-wide settings. Surely this isn't intentionally not considering those settings, right?

That's nice, thank you, would make sense that GBlocks gets its defaults from GPress without needing custom code like this, right?

we'll be introducing Global Colors in the next GP Theme update - once thats in place we will be adding integration to GB so colors from the Theme will be passed down to GB.

FYI: Central Color Palette has been awesome!
Maybe use it for some inspiration: name your colors, variables within CSS root, etc
You're welcome - I think you'll like the new system - very simple all managed first hand from the Themes color options :)
