Hello!
I am currently rebuilding a site using GP instead of Avada. On the bottom of the page there is a ~5px white bar that I can’t get rid of. I try to find the culprit by using Chrome Devtools, with no success. I have tried to set every margin and padding I can to 0, but the white bar is still there. Can you please help?
I am using Beaver Builder and the Beaver Builder Header Footer plugin.
Best regards,
Peter
July 15, 2019 at 9:20 am #958483LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
I can’t tell where that’s coming from either so would suspect it’s from a plugin.
Have you tried disabling all plugins to test?
Let me know π
July 15, 2019 at 11:27 pm #958936PeterHello!
I disabled all plugins but the problem persists. I used DevTools to decrease the body font-size, and that makes the bottom white bar lower, and removes it completely when the body font-size is 0. Is somehow an extra line being output at the end of the page or what could it be?
July 16, 2019 at 8:51 am #959348LeoStaffCustomer SupportHmm can’t see why that would be.
Does the problem still exist if you disable Beaver Builder and create a page using WP and GP only without any other plugins?
July 16, 2019 at 11:53 pm #959901PeterMe neither.
I disabled Beaver Builder and created a page using WP only, and then it is the same problem. But actually, when creating a page using GP with sections, the white bottom bar disappears.

Thanks π
July 17, 2019 at 10:28 pm #960776PeterI can see that we are not working the same hours, so I will disable plugins and set up so that you can view the test page that used WP only in about 8,5 hours.
Good morning π
July 18, 2019 at 6:32 am #961008PeterHere it is! I have only deactivated the “Beaver Builder Header Footer” plugin to not show dual footers.
July 18, 2019 at 7:53 am #961223LeoStaffCustomer SupportThe linked page above is showing up quite weird but I don’t see the white bar at the bottom though:

But dang, I linked to the page created in GP using sections, not the one created in WP only … I will make another try later today and link the other page π

July 22, 2019 at 6:54 am #964080PeterHi,
I am currently awaiting feedback of the site from my CEO, so I can’t change to the other footer now. I will get back to you when that is done.
Cheers!

August 15, 2019 at 6:25 am #984737PeterHello again!
Now, finally, my CEO has checked the site and we can continue this. Please check this site, created only with WordPress (not Beaver Builder nor GP):
https://vt.bullitgbg.se/footer-wp-only/
I still can’t figure out why there is a white bar at the bottom.
August 15, 2019 at 9:12 am #984980LeoStaffCustomer SupportAre you able to remove the
<p>
tag from the image?
