I can switch everything back real quick but the log in is correct. It was probably the word fence plugin that caused the issue. There definitely is something not right because as soon as I switched the theme which has the code in the header, I started seeing site visitors again.

I have updated it back to GP if you can get in there and try to figure it out.

And now that I have switched back there are no visitors. Something is off. I wish I could figure it out myself.

I am still getting errors but I did have the wrong code in the head portion but the tagchecker tool is still showing errors.

Have you tried clearing any caching after you correct the code?

I just tried the login you’ve provided in this post but it’s still not working for. Just says the username and password is incorrect:

You might want to check with Cloudways support to make sure the cache is properly cleared.

You are also using Breeze cache so make sure that is cleared.

The theme itself has absolutely no way of making the code not work – as long as the code is correct and added in the correct place.

Yes, you’re right about that. I’ll leave you guys alone on this. Was just wondering about the errors are about.

Did you solve the issue, Heath?

I have the exact same problem. Been running this site for 2-3 years and Analytics have been working properly during this whole time. In the last year I have only logged into the site to update theme and plugins. So nothing added or modified (apart from a few updates).

When I checked GA today, I see that on the 8th of June all of my traffic went down to 0. Since then, GA have recorded 1 visitor once a week. Very strange.

It’s obviously incorrect, since my Google rankings are the same, and I’ve still recorded sales during this whole time. It’s been normal.

    What I’ve done:
    – Checked if anything needs updating
    – Cleared cache several times
    – Changed GA code from Functions (header) to using the GP hooks, as linked in this thread
    – Logged in to the website using different computers, phones and browsers – nothing gets logged

Yes, Turned out I had a plugin that moved my css, html and javascript to make my site faster. Doing that caused the code to not show up. So I removed all that.

I see. Cheers for the reply.

Deactivating Breeze plugin (cache) seem to have solved it for me, in case someone encounters the same issue.
