Where is this empty paragraph coming from?

I created a block based page header (my first block element, very cool!). Underneath the page header (this happens whether it's a <section> or a
) and above the #page div is an empty paragraph. See: https://www.quackatoa.com/about/
For the life of me, I can't figure out where it's coming from.
I am using a child theme but it's the vanilla child theme with style.css, functions.php (customized), and another file that's not a page template.
Additionally, I can no longer make changes to the element - I try to save and it just keeps updating (same with the autosave).
I cleared my browser cache twice and it's still happening.
