Website Not Updating with Changes

My website is not updating when I make changes to it through the WordPress back end. The front page does not update. Other pages do not update. A post may actually post, but when I make edits to it, they do not update. This has happened in the past, and somehow it finally updated/changed on the live site. I don't know why. Now, it is happening more and more, and it's about to cause problems. I usually update my site using Google Chrome. Should I use a different browser? I've researched the problem, and I noticed a lot of the solutions talk about clearing your cache. I either don't have that installed or I don't have that problem, because I have not been able to find how to clear the site cache on the back end as some websites suggest. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
