[Support request] Website loading slowly

Hi,

My website loading time is over 5 sec. Using GP and SmartSlider, also a couple of your plugins.
I have a suggestion to fix the loading time:
Remove content that blocks JavaScript and CSS generation in content in the top half of the page (header).

The header was created using SmartSlider and it’s only 1 slide. So technically I could replace it with a (lighter) image and get rid of Smart Slider all together but I need a call to action button in it.
Is there a way to create and place a button using Generate Press into a header image?

(Or if my site loading problem is something else, please correct my assumptions!)

Hi there,

The load time of your site is determined by your host and PHP version more than anything else.

You can test by deactivating smart slider to start and see if it improves.
