want to increase the shopping cart icon size

I only want to increase the shopping cart icon size without increasing size of the other menu items.

GP Premium 2.02
theme: 3.0.3

I tried the following article, but to no avail.

.main-navigation .menu-bar-item > a.cart-contents {
    font-size: 24px;
}
