StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
this doc provides the PHP snippet to change the date in a Header Element:
Documentation: http://docs.generatepress.com/
Adding CSS: http://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-css/November 22, 2019 at 7:41 am #1072649John
Works fine. But shows published date in before content as well.
Here is the screenshot – https://prnt.sc/q0nsha

StaffCustomer SupportCan you try disabling the Post Date in the Customizer Blog options:

Thanks.
The issue is solved.
One more question,
Is post Update Date(from Header Element), will show in google search as well?

StaffCustomer SupportYour SEO ( or schema ) plugin is outputting published and updated dates in the JSON-LD for the site, so Goole will pick up the dates from there. Generally ( but we have no control over ) Google will choose the most relevant date to the article – as the only date displayed on the site is the Updated date it should prefer that.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
No need to disable the schema plugin – it should actually help get that data into Google for you 🙂

Reactivate the Schema plugin.
I’ve updated few posts and applied them to fetch on google search console.
But unfortunately, Google doesn’t show update date even any date.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperIt’s up to Google, so the only thing you can do is provide the necessary data and hope they use it. Does all of the data exist if you run the URL through this tool?: https://search.google.com/structured-data/testing-tool/u/0/
