Volune Template not showing like it does in DEMO

HI there,
I have installed the Volume template on a fresh wordpress install.
But the page header/hero areas are not showing like they do in the demo.
Is there something else I need to do to get the effects
So for example:
If you compare the link to their post for custom colors in the Nav Bar on the demo with how it loooks in the site I am using:

You will see the positioning and Page Hero category in the cute pink box are missing.
The page is also not merging not does it have the correct padding.
Can you help me fix this?
Either with the code itself or with links on how to do it?

Hi there,
looks like you already installed a Site before installing Volume so some of the old Sites header elements and CSS will still be in place.
I would advise reseting the site and installing the Volume site from a clean start.

In GPP 1.9 which is currently in Beta has a built in option to remove imported sites.
OK thanks for that - I will nuke everything and start again!
I thought the process of adding a new template would wipe the old one.
