[Resolved] Visual Editor In WordPress not working in theme

Hi.

Not sure if you can help but i’ve lost the visual editor (WYSIWYG) in wordpress. I have a generatepress child theme and all has been working well until about a day ago. Seems like this is a typical issue but i’ve tried several things others recommend with no luck.

Here’s what i tried.
-Disabling all plugins
-Disabling security plugins
-re-creating .htaccess (in case of corruption)
-adding define(‘CONCATENATE_SCRIPTS’, false); to wp-config.php
-restoring from previous backup before the problem occurred
-re-installing TinyAdvanced-MCE

I’m stuck at this point. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

when editing a page, nothing happens when i click on the visual tab. the WSYIWYG seems to be broken. At this point I haven’t a clue how to fix. Spent the last 2 days trying.

Hi Again,

I’ve finally gotten the visual edit tab in wordpress working. I’m not sure I can explain how I fixed it. I was cleaning up a page using the text editor and suddenly the visual editor start working! So I’m not sure what was corrupted but it seems to be ok now.
