[Resolved] Video wont play on mobile device (using elementor)

Hi,

I have a problem and wonder if someone could help me.

On my site there’s a video on loop, but when visiting the site from my mobile the video isn’t playing.

Im using elementor to design the site and the video is uploaded with elementor from my “local server”

Any ideas what might cause this?

Hi there,

Mobile browsers block video from autoplaying. This is to stop users from having their data allowance being eaten up by large video files.

It varies from device to device. iOS used to always block them. It was relaxed on the more recent iOS versions where some auto play videos are allowed. You can read more here if you’re inclined:

But if the video still doesn’t work within those guidelines you would need to speak with Elementor support.
