USP bar

Hi guys. I'm working on switching our online store to GeneratePress and it's going swimmingly. I'm just wondering, though, if there is any easy way to insert a mobile responsive USP bar under the header? One that maybe shows 4 unique selling points in a row on desktop and has them sliding on mobile, or something like that. Maybe even just show the primary one on mobile. I can't find any plug-ins for this for Woocommerce, just the Woo USP one and it displays them as a list.

Am I thinking too far, or is this something that can be done using the theme?

Hi there,

you can use a Block Element to add some content in that place:

https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-overview/

Select the Hook: generate_after_header to position it below the site header
And set the Display Rules to the Entire Site ( or the specific pages you want to appear ).

We recommend using the GenerateBlocks plugin to build your content, as it has responsive controls built in.

Thanks! I know about GenerateBlocks and how to insert something below the header area, I'm just wondering how I'd go about making a USP bar like this. Because WooCommerce doesn't have any extensions or plug-ins for it (Shopware, for example, has some nice USP bar extensions), I figured I'd ask for pointers here. Or is that going too far in terms of customization requests?

Yes, that's 100% what I mean! I see that on mobile they display a different one that only says the next day delivery thing (the most important feature). Although it would be very nice to have one that slides all of the USP's on mobile, that is a good idea and at least something I know how to do (use different blocks for desktop vs mobile). I'll go for that if I can't figure out how to make it slide (like on http://www.xenos.nl) or drop in one by one http://www.boldmonkey.com (although this page has it above the header).

PS: What a nice site you linked to, is that GeneratePress also?

The Block Element and GenerateBlocks can do something like the the site i linked to. And no its not a GP site i found it on Shopware :)

The sliding options for mobile would require a slider plugin of some kind to create that effect.
