Use Home Page element on Sub Pages

My client wants to use the elements header layout for the entire site. I was able to apply to layout to the sub pages, but I can't figure out how to make the background and layout match the home. For example: if you take a look at the Our Team page, you can see the logo and the menu. However, meet our Team moved to the top and the page doesn't have a container that will allow me to add the background. I tried saving the container from the home page, but the page will not allow me to drag it onto the page.
