Update problem

The plugin Block Lab (customized Gutenberg blocks) uses a directory with the theme directoy. Each time I update GP this directory is deleted. Could you think about only deleting your directories or helps using a child theme?
Hi there,
If they require you to add a directory to the theme, you'll need to use a child theme.
WordPress fully deletes theme/plugin directories when an update happens.
