had to use Easy Theme and Plugin Upgrades to update to 1.6.2
same with 1.7 beta 1
cannot locate .zip file to install 1.7 beta 1, can you point me to it?
the update failure is probably cause by another stupid plugin i installed. I need to do house cleaning on site.
Currently beta updates are only available through Dashboard updates. What was the error you were getting?
