Unwanted space in homepage header

Hi,

I'm working on a multisite with multilingualpress plugin.
I've created the network, I have two site, one in Italian and one in English. At the moment the website in Italian has no space between the top menu and the hero image, even if the customize options under layout > content I have a content separator of 1,6em.
In the English version if I put the content separator to 0em the space disappear, but some element inside the hero image have different distances.
Can you help me?
I would like the space removed and the same distance between elements.
