[Resolved] Unable to to update to 1.2.83

I have currently 1.2.81 running.
The directory is there, but I do get the error message below:

An error occurred while updating GP Premium: Could not create directory. gp-premium/addons/generate-backgrounds/functions

This is typically a server setting that needs to be tweaked.

Best way around it is to manually update: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/updating-add-ons/#manual-update
